“We have received some feedback from wholesale customers regarding sediment in the Ginger Spiced Chai. As we use fresh ginger and grind our own spices, some sediment and color variation are inherent and expected. This might be more noticeable now due to the recent change in our bottles, which are less opaque.

Additionally, we have upgraded to a higher quality lemon juice because our previous supplier altered their formula to include additives that were not suitable for our chai. After conducting a series of side-by-side tastings, we have found that the new lemon juice enhances the chai’s flavor and brightness. We are committed to adhering to FDA regulations for pH levels while ensuring that our ingredients remain wholesome and high-quality.

We advise customers to shake the bottle vigorously before pouring to ensure that the sediment, which contributes to the chai’s body, is properly mixed back into the concentrate. The brighter color results from the interaction between the tea, ginger, and new lemon juice.”
