Part-time, Accounts Receivables & Customer Service Assistant

Earthly Gourmet is a leading wholesale distributor of vegan, gluten-free, and raw gourmet foods based in Portland, Oregon. We provide products to restaurants, bakeries, independent cafes, food carts, food processors, and natural food stores in the Pacific Northwest, including Oregon, Washington, California, and Idaho. Our mission is to provide independent businesses with naturally flavorful foods, made with only the highest quality ingredients, from independent, artisan food makers, while remaining compassionate to all living beings and the environment.

Role Description
We are looking for a part-time Accounts Receivables & Customer Service Assistant to join our team in Portland, OR. This person will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients, responding to inquiries, resolving customer issues, and providing product information.

Tentative schedule is as follows:

Wednesdays - Fridays: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Saturdays: 9:15 AM - 2:15 PM

There is an opportunity to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and record payments

• File customer and vendor invoices

• Invoice and billing verification

• Assist the Accounts Manager with collections

• Support the Inventory Team with physical counts

• Assist the Customer Service team with order entry (via phone and email) and Will Calls

Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience in an Accounts Receivable or Accounting Assistant role

• At least one year of experience in Customer Service

• Proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise

• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor

• Capable of lifting up to 55 lbs occasionally
