Full-Time, Delivery Driver

About Earthly Gourmet:

Earthly Gourmet is a leading wholesale distributor of vegan, gluten-free, and raw gourmet foods based in Portland, Oregon. We provide products to restaurants, bakeries, independent cafes, food carts, food processors, and natural food stores in the Pacific Northwest, including Oregon, Washington, Northern California, and Idaho. Our mission is to provide independent businesses with naturally flavorful foods, made with only the highest quality ingredients, from independent, artisan food makers, while remaining compassionate to all living beings and the environment.

Role Description:

We are seeking self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to drive for us, long-term. The current position is 30+ hours but could grow into more hours for the right candidate.

Tentative Hours are:

  • Tuesday-Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm

  • Approximately 30+ Hours

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Helping load delivery vehicles in an efficient and organized manner

  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles

  • Reading and understanding invoices

  • Excellent customer service

  • Driving with efficiency and caution

  • Ability to back up Warehouse Associate role Monday and Tuesday

  • Box truck driving experience required

The ideal candidate will: 

  • Reliable

  • Honest and trustworthy

  • Communicate politely

  • Diligent in their work

  • Strong work ethic

  • Work well within a team environment

  • Capable of lifting up to 55lbs at a time, frequently

  • Possess a valid driver's license, with delivery experience preferred

  • Have good knowledge of Portland streets & neighborhoods

  • Have an appreciation and understanding of Natural/Organic/Vegan/Gluten-Free and gourmet foods
